In the ever-evolving landscape of digital content creation, transparency is paramount. As a content creator, I believe in providing clear and honest information to my readers and viewers. This commitment to transparency extends to three key areas: sponsored posts, press samples (now referred to as “gifts”), and affiliate links.

Any posts that are paid for by a brand are always marked as “AD” in the title. An “AD” signifies two essential components:

a) Compensation for Time and Effort: When I engage in sponsored content, it means that a brand has compensated me for my time, effort, and the coverage I provide. This ensures that I can continue creating quality content for my audience.

b) Key Messaging: The brand provides me with specific key messages that they wish to convey to my audience. I only agree to a sponsored post if I am comfortable with these key messages and believe they are both truthful and relevant to my readers and viewers.

This straightforward approach allows you to know, even before reading the content, whether brand involvement exists. It’s a direct and honest way to maintain transparency.

Receiving press samples, which are now referred to as “gifts,” is an integral part of my work. As a beauty product reviewer, I test hundreds of products to provide you with insights into the best ones. While receiving these samples is essential, it has no influence on how I write about them.

These press samples are typically sent to me unsolicited, with the hope that I will genuinely love them and feature them in an authentic and unbiased manner. I rarely consider these samples as “gifts” because reviewing beauty products is a significant aspect of my job.

The ability to test products before their launch, compare different versions, and assess various brands’ offerings is behind-the-scenes work that informs the content you see on my platform. I showcase only a fraction of the products I test, and I hope that my honest opinions provide value to you, the reader.

Affiliate links are another element of transparency on my platform. These links may provide me with a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking on them. However, it’s important to note that this commission does not impact how I write or present my content.

I remain committed to offering honest and unbiased reviews, recommendations, and insights, regardless of whether an affiliate link is present. These links are a way to support my work and help sustain the creation of valuable content for my audience.

In conclusion, transparency is the cornerstone of my approach to content creation. Whether it’s sponsored posts, press samples, or affiliate links, I strive to maintain open and honest communication with my readers and viewers. Your trust and confidence in my content are of utmost importance, and I am dedicated to upholding these principles in every aspect of my work. Thank you for being a part of my journey and for valuing my honest opinion.
